ISSB Annual Book Donation Reaches 6th Year

Iowa State Savings Bank recently visited Lenox Elementary to celebrate the end of the school year by providing a book to every student.

The donation is part of the bank's annual tradition of recognizing students for their hard work throughout the school year while encouraging them to continue reading during the summer months.

This year marks the sixth consecutive year Iowa State Savings Bank has provided books to elementary students in the communities it serves. Students at Lenox Elementary, Creston Elementary, St. Malachy, and Mayflower Heritage school received books before the start of summer break.

Over the past six years, Iowa State Savings Bank has donated more than 5,500 books to local elementary students.

Along with encouraging summer reading, the annual donation serves as a reminder for students to share kindness with others throughout the summer and in the year ahead.
