Community Reinvestment
In 2025, Iowa State Savings Bank committed $60,000 in multi-year pledges, along with ongoing annual donations. Our team contributed more than 2,000 volunteer hours, serving on local boards, supporting community events, and investing time in schools and nonprofit organizations across the five counties we serve.
Partnerships
We take pride in our relationship-first approach to doing business. As a local team, we are here to help individuals, businesses, and communities succeed. We are all about building meaningful connections and creating lasting partnerships along the way. In 2025, Iowa State Savings Bank was nominated by Lenox Community Schools for the Iowa Business Education Association Service to Business Education Award, recognizing partnership with students and educators.
Continuing Legacies
We are honored to serve as Trustee for The W.D. & Shirley Schafer-Ray Educational Trust. On behalf of the Trust, we award scholarships to local students from Adair, Adams, Taylor, and Union County. Over the past 4 years, we've awarded a total of $940,500 through 206 scholarships. This Trust is designed to award millions of dollars to our area students.
New Services
As needs evolve, so do the tools that support those relationships. In 2025, new services were introduced to support businesses including Positive Pay for fraud protection, Remote Deposit Capture for efficient check deposits. We also added Greenlight, a debit card and financial app designed to help kids learn money management.
2025 stands as one of the strongest years in our history. That progress reflects steady decisions and continued investment in the customers and communities we serve, strengthening the bank for the years ahead.
