New Stimulus Payments

What you can expect

As part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the federal government started to provide a third round of stimulus payments (also known as economic impact payments) to eligible recipients.

How will you receive your payment?

If you are eligible for a stimulus payment, your funds may be automatically deposited into your account, you might receive a check in the mail, or an Economic Impact Payment (EIP) debit card in the mail. You can check the status of your payment on the IRS website.

Automatic Deposit

Your payment may be deposited directly into the same account used when you filed your 2019 tax return or the account number used in the previous stimulus payment program. The payment will be listed as "IRS TREAS 310 TAXEIP3".

You can monitor your account and watch for your payment through our online banking or mobile banking app.

Paper Check in the Mail

You will most likely receive a US Treasury Check in the mail if you have not provided the IRS your direct deposit account information in the last two years. The stimulus check will be mailed to the address on file at the IRS from your 2019 year tax return.

We encourage you to use our Mobile Deposit service to deposit your check. Simply take a picture of your check using our mobile banking app and deposit your funds into your account. Learn more here.

EIP Debit Card

You may receive an EIP card in the mail. This card will arrive in a plain envelope from "Money Network Cardholder Services". For more information on your EIP card, such as: how to activate your card, how to cash your card, or where you can use your card, visit the IRS website or EIP Card FAQ page.

Protect yourself from fraud

Stay alert! Unfortunately, cybercriminals are taking advantage of the third round of stimulus payments. You may see an increase in fraudulent activity. If you receive a suspicious email or text message, don't respond, click on links or open attachments. If we contact you, we will not ask for any confidential information over the phone or via email.
