Exclusive Banking Partner of Southwestern Athletics
Southwestern announces athletics partnership with Iowa State Savings Bank
The Southwestern Community College athletic department has announced an exclusive athletics partnership between the Spartans athletic program and Iowa State Savings Bank (ISSB) of Creston.
This partnership will expand on the longtime relationship between the college and ISSB and provide the bank with new expanded marketing opportunities during Southwestern events and promotions.
“The exclusive bank of Southwestern athletics sounds pretty cool,” boasts Southwestern Athletic Director Doug North. “I am excited to share our successes with Iowa State Savings Bank on an even larger scale than ever before.”
During the 2020-21 and 2021-22 athletic seasons, ISSB will reap many benefits above and beyond the college’s newly released Southwestern Athletics Marketing Package. Radio advertisements broadcast at every home athletic event on the official Spartan Radio will highlight the community involvement of ISSB and the amenities they provide. Commercials on the ICCAC Sports Network live streaming service will also promote ISSB and other Southwestern athletic sponsors.
“You will see the ISSB logo and the Spartan logo side-by-side often,” says North. “This is not just an agreement on paper, this is going to be a bond between two monumental entities in southwest Iowa.”
ISSB is equally excited about what this partnership will bring to their organization.
“Southwestern is a tremendous institution and a wonderful asset for our area,” expressed ISSB President and CEO Adam Snodgrass. “Having the opportunity to support the athletic department through the exclusive partnership is another way ISSB can show our appreciation for the college.”
The Spartans, who compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference, host more than 100 home events annually, bringing thousands of eyes to the college campus, the Southwestern website, and the athletics livestream.
