Iowa State Savings Bank is proud to announce two significant contributions totaling $20,000 to enhance recreational opportunities in Southwest Iowa. The bank recently donated $10,000 to the Lenox Baby Pool Renovation Project and $10,000 to the Diagonal Walkable Community Initiative.
Iowa State Savings Bank presented a $10,000 check to the Leading Ladies of Lenox, who are spearheading the Lenox Baby Pool Renovation Project in partnership with the City of Lenox. The project will transform the current baby pool into a modern, zero entry design with new water features and shaded areas. Construction is scheduled to begin this fall.
The Diagonal Community Development Corporation has led the Walkable Community Initiative in recent years, adding new trails throughout Diagonal and around Fogle Lake. Iowa State Savings Bank’s $10,000 contribution will help fund the final phase, which will connect the entire trail system and create a safer, healthier environment. Iowa State Savings Bank and the Diagonal Community Development Corporation recently hosted a check presentation as the group begins its fundraising efforts for this final phase.

“We believe in making things better for the communities we serve,” said Hannah West, ISSB Marketing Officer. “Supporting local initiatives that enhance daily life and bring our communities together are an important part of our values.”
